Bobbie Rosenfeld (1905 -1969) Olympic Gold and Silver Medallist. Rosenfeld excelled at many sports including ice hockey, tennis and softball. In the 1928 Olympics, she was part of Canada's sixwoman Track and Field team. A popular member of "The Matchless Six", Rosenfeld won a silver medal in the 100 meter race and a gold in the 400 meter relay race.
Manon Rheaume (1972-). Hockey player. Born in Lac Beauport, Quebec. Rheaume learned to skate at the age of 3 and began playing hockey at five. She became the first woman to: play at the International Pee Wee Hockey Tournament; play in a major junior game; play in a NHL game; sign a professional hockey contract; and play in a professional hockey game during the regular season. She was a1992 and 1994 Gold medallist at the World Championship, was twice voted to All Star Team and won a Silver Medal at the 1998 Olympic Games.
